TSC was built by and for people who live inside CJIS systems. TSC has operated inside CJIS security boundaries for over 30 years. The language TSC speaks is the language of criminal-history practitioners, not of SaaS founders who discovered a government market.

We know what a firearm instant check means operationally. We know why a missed disposition is not just a data gap but a liability. When a new law passes or a legislator demands answers, states call TSC first, because TSC tells them the truth and helps them look like experts to their own leadership.

1996

TSC deploys the Firearm Instant Check System (FICS) with Oregon State Police. The foundation of what becomes Flex-Check

1998

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation selects FICS for firearm sales and licensing.

2002

FICS upgraded to include fingerprint-based and name-based background search and adjudication.

2008

TSC deploys EasyPath for statewide fingerprinting networks with IDEMIA, beginning a partnership that spans 9 states.

2014

EasyPath rewritten as Flex-Check. Deployed for firearms purchase background checks with Pennsylvania State Police.

2020

Flex-Check selected by Unisys to power Nevada’s Criminal Justice Information Systems modernization.

2021

Flex-Check deployed on multi-tenanted cloud environment with IDEMIA.

2022

TSC acquired by growth-focused investors. A new ownership team and an expanded mandate to bring 30 years of CJIS expertise to a broader market.

2025

Nevada Flex-Check go-live. Development of Flex-Check Transform begins. Flex-Check CCH enters active build.

2026

Flex-Check Transform in production. Flex-Check CCH targeting late 2026. Flex-Check Pilot integration-ready.
